PSAT Testing for All 8th and 10th Grade Students on October 14
Dear Parents,
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, all 8th and 10th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in PSAT testing at school at no cost to families.
8th Grade Students will take the PSAT, which helps students become familiar with college-readiness assessments such as the SAT. Students will receive individualized feedback that can help identify strengths and areas for growth, supporting future academic success.
10th Grade Students will take the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). This assessment provides valuable SAT practice while helping students identify areas for improvement. It also serves as an important step in preparing for future opportunities related to the National Merit Scholarship Program.
To help your child perform their best, please encourage them to:
• Get a good night's sleep before testing day.
• Eat a healthy breakfast.
• Arrive at school on time.
• Bring any school-approved materials requested by their teacher or school.
Thank you for your support as we continue preparing students for future success and keeping The Promise of CCSD.
